We just released SmartDay barely a month ago, and already we’re listening to your requests. Some of those have already been incorporated into 1.0.2 – due out this weekend and still more will be incorporated into 1.0.3 , to be released in a couple of weeks. And let’s not forget 1.1, which will feature HyperNotes and JumpLinks.
Here’s what we have coming for you this summer, in SmartDay:
1.0.2 Early July
- “Do Today” feature
Right-click any task in the list, select “Do Today,” and it will jump to the top of the list – and automatically schedule it into your calendar! - Calendar Groups
SmartDay now shows where your calendars come from – iCal or SmartDay – and shows which ones iCal has designated as “event only” or “reminders only.” - Improved stability
We fixed the “Google” bug and also closed a memory leak that happens when you have Repeating Events.
1.0.3 Late July
- Data Cleaner
Completely erase your database. Helpful if you get corrupted data from importing or syncing with outside calendars. - New Keyboard Shortcuts
Quickly create a new Task or Event from your keyboard. - Improved User Interface
Higher contrast, dark text against light background for all Lists.
1.1 Late Summer
- HyperNotes
Create full notes anywhere. Insert check-lists directly into your notes. Link them to any task or event. Sync them with mySmartDay and SmartDay for iPhone. - JumpLinks
Create two-way links between any two items – events, tasks, notes. Link multiple notes to one task or appointment. One-click to see detail. One-click to jump back. JumpLinks are sync’d to mySmartDay and SmartDay for iPhone.
