I would love to be a beta tester! I’m a technology trainer for a major stock brokerage firm that is currently going through a merger and a complete systems migration and know how valuable feedback is when creating a new or upgrading an existing system. Count me in! I’m struggling with an iPad compatible productivity tool. Keep me in mind if you like!

By the way, let me take the opportunity to tell you some thing about SmartTime that’s still disturb me after so many months of daily use.
It is about the Smart screen.

SmartTime is the only one software I know that presents the date “under” the events and task of the day. It is something vey unconventional and very, very disturbing. I can understand that it is your choice, but it is not a good justification. And I think you should think about again.

If a conventional board, the Smart screen should start with the today’s date followed by events and task for the day, then comes the next header with the date of tomorrow followed by events and tasks planned for tomorrow… then Smart screen should have a third header called something like “Later” or “In the next days” ou “Soon”… for every other events and tasks that are listed for after tomorrow and the date that has been determined by the user in preferences.

What do you think about that. I ‘am not a programmer but I imagine that is very simple to do and has no programming implication beyond the look of the Smart Screen.

Yes, Michael, it is always better to have a French version to sell to French speaking people. Not only the app, but also the user guide. In fact you may keep the soft in English but should have the user guide in French language (with the menus, buttons, screenshots in English as that’s the users will see in the interface). The more complex and versatile is the application, the more we need to make the localization effort.
France has a quite large installed base of iPhone users, and the iPhone 4 is staring here a big career !

Glad to hear it is working well. By the way we already have one iPad app, SmartTunes! We are also working to create an iPad version of SmartNotes. And we are developing a completely new productivity app for iPad that will incorporate technology from SmartTime, SmartPlans and SmartList.

Question: Do you think SmartTime would be more popular in French-speaking countries if we offered a French version?

I decided finally to hard reset my iPhone 4. Then everything is working nice now. By the way, my iTunes backup before sync function operates much quicker now too. So SmartTime was certainly not really involved and the problem was for sure a little more general.

Hello, good job but… I’ am on an iPhone 4 and I have problem for linking SmartTime calendars to Google’s ones. SmartTime quits when I tap on Save.It is systematic. I had to uninstall it many times, and still impossible to make the links. So almost unusable for me.
