The Left Coast Skyline

Each of our SmartApps manages tasks in different ways. Check out the comparison list of key features, below.  For more detail, go to the individual product pages, check out the videos, or visit our Forum to see what others are saying.

SmartCal is an intelligent calendar and planner for your iPhone or iPod Touch.  Plan and organize in three handy views:  Calendar View integrates tasks directly into the free space between your appointments and has a handy pull-down “mini month” for easy planning; Task View shows which tasks fit into each day for the entire week, with easy filters and drag/drop prioritizing; Projects View shows your tasks by project category. Synchronize appointments directly with your iPhone calendar, and tasks with Toodledo.

SmartPad is an integrated organizer for iPad. In addition to the advanced productivity features of its younger sibling SmartCal, SmartPad has full-sized week and month calendars with zoom detail for individual days.  It also has a completely integrated Notes system that links notes to individual days, and lets you create new linked follow-up tasks and events just by highlighting text.

SmartTime is our original all-in-one organizer with logic for slotting your tasks into the free time between your appointments. Similar to SmartCal, SmartTime features the unique SmartView that combines tasks and events into a linear list that reflects how your day works.  It also has calendar features including a landscape view week and month calendar.

SmartNotes is designed to organize your ideas intuitively using drag-and-drop ‘stickies’.  You can drag any note on top of another to create a new folder, and you can attach photos or voice recordings to any note.  SmartNotes runs on both iPhone and iPad, and can share data between the two via the Left Coast Cloud.  In the very near future, SmartNotes users will also be able to share data with a web version that you can use anywhere, on any computer.

SmartPlans allows you to manage plans, projects, calls and tasks – all from one app. Create plans or projects and fill them with tasks.  Manage your plans in the intuitive GANTT chart. And with the latest version, you can synchronize your tasks with Toodledo – and share them with SmartCal and SmartPad. SmartPlans runs HD on both iPhone and iPad.

  2. [...] Left Coast Logic is unveiling new apps and a cloud service at Macworld this week. The SmartDay organizer integrates tasks, events, notes, and projects into one app. The company’s SmartTime logic is behind the organizer. It schedules tasks directly into free time between calendar appointments. SmartDay Mac is the company’s first Mac app, but it includes a feature-set similar to its iPad organizer, SmartPad. The company is also unveiling a web version, mySmartDay.com, that synchronizes with both. [...]
