Smart Tasks is Smart Time without the advanced calendars – but with appointments and events integrated into our unique “Smart View” as shown here. It synchronizes with Google Calendar (both tasks and events), it has push notification alerts for both tasks and events, and it features our unique variable “Snooze Alerts” so you can tell the alert to remind you again in 30 minutes, or whenever you wish.
Q: What is the difference between Smart Tasks and Smart Time?
A: Smart Tasks is exactly the same as Smart Time, except it does not have the Focus View or the Calendar Views (Day, Week, Month).
As such, Smart Tasks is the original, essential Smart Time that we launched on the App Store in September 2008 and which quickly became the top rated task organizer on the app store.
So in January we decided to return the original Smart Time to the app store with a bunch of integration features, and call it Smart Tasks because it focuses on your task list (although it integrates with your appointments). We were excited to see that our decision was apparently correct: within two week it rose to #5 in the business section of the store (out of over 3,000 applications) and also broke into the “What’s Hot” list on the App Store! This new version also has a host of new features since the original launch. These include:

At the moment, we are unable to offer upgrades from Smart Tasks to Smart Time. However, we are working on that and it might be available later this year.
