ST_86SDP-86-icon2[Jim] What’s the difference between SmartTime and SmartDay?

SmartTime integrates directly with the iPhone (and only with the iPhone) – it syncs events with the iPhone Calendar, and tasks with ‘Reminders’ app – then it combines them into a truly integrated calendar!  It also integrates with the  iPhone’s Contacts, Phone, SMS, and Maps.

SmartDay, syncs events, tasks, notes, and projects – as an integrated package, with all of the interconnected links that you can create – with mySmartDay.com and from there, to SmartPad (iPad) and SmartDay (Mac). It can also sync events with the iPhone calendar, and tasks with Toodledo.

Those are the main differences, but there are some others as well:

SmartTime focuses on ‘iPhone integration,’ whereas SmartDay focuses on ‘data integration’ and ‘multiple device integration’.  Here’s how:

SmartTime has closer integration with the iPhone itself; it links with Contacts to enable you to send an SMS or make a phone call directly to the person you are meeting with (“I’m going to be late”) or to pull up a Map of their home/office, or to share a ‘Smart’ task with another SmartTime user via Email. Tasks are automatically integrated into the calendar for you.

SmartDay integrates your tasks, events, notes, and projects together by allowing you to create links between items (great for follow-up, or for attaching a meeting note to multiple tasks).  In turn, this integrated information is sync’d to our free cloud hub, mySmartDay.com, which you can view on any computer browser or sync onwards to SmartDay on your iPod Touch, iPad, other iPhones, or Mac.  If you use multiple devices, this is the one for you.
