Hello SmartTime users,

We are pleased to announce that SmartTime Pro, version 3.5.2, is now available on the App Store as of today.  This features sound and pop-up alerts for Events, both when SmartTime is running, and when it is closed.

(Note:  Push is only enabled for normal Events, not Tasks or Repeating Events.  Note also we were unable to beta-test this in advance due to complications with Apple, so we request your patience in using this feature.  If you depend upon notifications for your Events, you might want to 'double-up' by using Google alerts as well, until we are all sure that the Push feature is working smoothly.  As always, you will need to be connected to the internet, either via WiFi or your cell connection, in order for Push alerts to work.)

Other new features in 3.5.2:

Badges
Application badge shows how many tasks you have due, or how many have deadlines approaching.  Choose how you want them to be displayed, in Settings.

Sync Wizard
Our sync works the same as before, but now we have handy little arrows that tell you everything you need to do.  As always, only sync Events to Google Calendar until you get the hang of it. Then try creating Task calendars to sync.  See our sync guide for more detail:  http://leftcoastlogic.com/sync

Week Start Days
You can now select whether you want your first day of the week to be Monday, or Sunday. This applies to both Week view and Month view.

Fixed Bugs
- The "sync completed tasks" bug is fixed.
- "Crash during Google Sync" is fixed.  Please note that if you have a large database, you will still need to sync only a smaller portion of that. Try One Week, then One Month, before syncing larger amounts of data.

Last but not least, we are excited to announce that SmartNotes is in final testing and will be available on the App Store any day now.  SmartNotes is an intuitive way to organize your thoughts. Together with SmartTime and the upcoming SmartPlans, the three apps span the "Creativity Continuum" that takes you from original idea to completed project.
