Left Coast Logic is pleased to announce the January launch of two new “Smart” apps – SmartNotes and SmartPlans – to complement their flagship productivity app, SmartTime.  Together, they form the first productivity suite for portable devices, spanning the company’s vision of a “creativity continuum” from idea creation to project completion.  The apps are designed to work independently but will share data in the near future.

Coinciding with the launch, the company’s flagship app, SmartTime, broke into the “What’s Hot” list on the iTunes App Store on January 5. Shortly after, SmartNotes was listed as the #1 selling business app on the entire store.

“With SmartApps, we have established ourselves as the iPhone personal and small business productivity experts,” says James Reynolds, Co-Partner of Left Coast Logic.  “Our vision is to make people not just more productive, but more creative,” adds Michael Jardine, Managing Partner. “Our applications are designed not just to help people ‘get things done’ but to enable them to balance their lives in a productive and entertaining way. We call it productainment.”

SmartNotes is an intuitive way to create and group ideas, notes, to-dos, lists, photos and even voice notes all from the iPhone’s “desktop.” SmartNotes also integrates with the iPhone’s Contact list, Google Maps, and phone-call functions.

SmartTime Pro uses adaptive logic to dynamically schedule time for your tasks in-between your appointments. It features advanced calendaring with wide landscape week and month views, and synchronizes with Google Calendar.  SmartTime integrates with the iPhone’s core apps and has robust and flexible alerts.

SmartPlans is a flexible productivity tool for managing anything.  It combines five apps into one: Project Planner, Task List, Plans Manager, Time Logger and Contacts Manager. Use the included Timer to log, report, and export any kind of activity.

Left Coast Logic designs and develops productive software solutions for consumer and enterprise customers.  Out of 125,000 registered iPhone developers, they are the only one to have top ranked apps (99 percentile) in more than three different categories.
