Seattle, Washington – Left Coast Logic announced the launch of their latest productivity app, ScrapBook – Tell Your Story. ScrapBook is a tool for creating, showing, sharing and planning. More than just a photo book, the app integrates with live maps and voice recordings. It also features detailed notes and to-do’s with reminders – a staple of the company’s popular productivity apps. To celebrate the successful launch, the company is offering a one-week sale starting today.
In its first week on the iTunes App Store, SmartPad climbed to #66 in the Productivity section, outselling 98% of all productivity apps.
“We took a look at other offerings in the scrapbooking market and realized there is a lot of room for improvement. Why limit scrapbooking to hobbyists? Why not use books interactively to tell stories, as well as to make and plan new ones? Why not involve others in the process? That’s our vision” says Managing Partner Michael Jardine. “Our 1.0 version has a core set of features that give a taste of what’s to come. We’ve already begun work on the next version which will offer personalization templates, and collaboration via Facebook.”
Core features of ScrapBook include multiple books and the ability to mix photos, voice, maps and notes on multiple pages. Users can drag and drop pages in the navigation screen to re-arrange. Basic collaboration features include an automatic screen show with manual page-flip, and the ability to send individual pages to others via email.
