SmartCal (for iPhone) and SmartPad (for iPad) synchronize their tasks with Toodledo, the free online task list app. Soon, SmartPlans – our Project Manager for both iPhone and iPad – will also sync Projects and Tasks with Toodledo. Now, there is a handy way to add tasks to your list while sitting in front of you computer, then grab your iPad or iPhone and you’ll see them on SmartPad, SmartCal, and (soon) SmartPlans. Here’s how it works:
In your Firefox browser, go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Add-ons. In the search box, type “toodledo”. Or you can just click on this link. Click “Add to Firefox.”
Any time you want to add a task to your list, with your Firefox browser open, just hit Option+Command+A on your keyboard (Mac), no matter where you are, no matter what you are doing. A drop-down “quick add” dialog lets you create a new task. Pure stream of consciousness.
Run out the door with your iPhone or iPad. Open up SmartCal or SmartPad, and tap “Sync Tasks.” You’ll get an update of everything you added while you were at the computer.
Now that’s productivity.
