We just wanted to update you on what has been a very busy summer. We just released SmartPad 2.1.1, which followed on the heels of the all-new SmartPad 2.1 with automatic sync and list-style projects. 2.1.1 fixes some sync issues that people were having. If you were one of those few people, please check it out and let us know how you like it!

SmartPad and SmartCal are joined at the hip.  Both sync calendars with the iOS calendar (and from there, to the rest of the world) and both sync tasks with Toodledo. So if you happen to have both an iPhone and an iPad, you can share your data between the two using SmartPad and SmartCal.

SmartCal

Speaking of SmartCal, we just submitted version 3.0 today. Expect it to be live by next week.  This is an all-new product with major new features listed below. Get 2.0 now, for the special price of $4.99.  The upgrade to 3.0 will be free but the price will go up!  We think you’ll never use another planner on your iPhone, and you’ll never look at calendars the same way.

✓ “Thumb Planner” pull-down week or month calendars for quick navigation and drag/drop planning at the tip of your thumb.
✓ Drop-down “My Day” drawer shows what’s new or due, plus all-day events, for each day.
✓ “Week Planner” allows you to assign different working hours for each day of the week, see and plan out your tasks for the next 7 days.
✓ “Tags/Contexts” filters with user-generated quick-add buttons
✓ Automatic mapping of Categories for syncing to iPhone calendar (events) and Toodledo (tasks)
✓ “List” style projects for creating single or recurring lists that do not show up in the Tasks folder

In addition, we added several features that people have been requesting:

• Multiple navigation options (icons or small text for extra room)
• “Task Move” options inside the calendar (convert to event, or change order)
• Landscape Mode On/Off
