Transferring data from SmartTime to SmartCal

Many of our SmartTime users are interested in SmartCal.  Here is what we suggest.

Transferring Calendar Events from SmartTime

1. Sync your Events to Google
2. Set up Google Exchange to sync seamlessly with your iPhone Calendar. See these instructions:  http://www.leftcoastlogic.com/blog/productivity-tip-101-staying-connected-via-exchange/
3. Check to see that all of your Google calendar items are now in your iPhone Calendar.
4. Sync SmartCal with your iPhone Calendar.  You can follow the instructions in our Handy Guide.

Transferring Tasks from SmartTime

There are two options. The first one is more simple.

1. Simply re-enter those tasks in Toodledo, then synchronize with SmartCal.  Follow the instructions in our Handy Guide.
2. You can also follow the instructions for transferring Calendar Event, in the first section above. Once those Tasks have all been transferred over your iPhone Calendar and sync’d to SmartCal as calendar events, go through each one and change it from an Event to a Task.
