We are pleased to announced that SmartCal 2.0.2 has just been accepted by the iTunes App Store.  This is a maintenance release and fixes a few small bugs including a short-memory situation that can occur the first time you start the app after it has been closed for a while. Typically this occurs when you have many other apps also resident in memory.  (If this happens to you regularly, see our blog post here about Apps Crashing on your iPhone.)

Other updates:

SmartNotes 2.0 is in final beta and will be released soon.

With this major new release, you will be able to sync data between SmartNotes on your iPhone, and SmartNotes on your iPad. This is a precursor to our SmartWeb project in which all of the features of our key Smart Apps will be available to you on the web, and you will be able to synchronize between our apps.

SmartPad 2.0 is in final beta and will also be released soon.  You can read all the details in our User Guide.

Key new features are Project management, automated GTDo’s, pop-up reminders for Tasks, improved Calendar, simplified design, and contextual menu’s for all items.

SmartPlans 2.0 is also in beta and will be released in early March.

New to this is a specially designed version for iPad, and a much asked-for feature:  you will be able to sync Tasks and Projects with Toodledo – and from there, to SmartCal and SmartPad.

SmartTime update

We apologize that it has been a long time since we updated SmartTime – we’ve had  a lot on our plate, but we have not forgotten about you!  We have been having problems with the Google sync libraries, so we have decided instead to support direct sync of Events with the iPhone calendar, and Tasks with Toodledo.  With this, you will be able to share data with both SmartCal and SmartPad. We hope to have this new version completed within March and available to you on the App Store my early April.  Hang tight!
